Indications/Uses
Resp infection characterized by thick & viscous hypersecretions.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Nebulize 1 amp, 1-2 times daily for 5-10 days.
Contraindications
Special Precautions
Perform postural drainage or bronchosuction if unable to expectorate. May worsen cough in acute bronchial asthma; discontinue use if bronchospasm occur.
Adverse Reactions
Hypersensitivity reactions eg, urticaria & rarely bronchospasm. Nasopharyngeal & GI irritations eg, rhinorrhea, stomatitis, nausea, vomiting & dyspepsia.
Drug Interactions
Incompatibilities in concomitant use w/ antibiotics.

R05CB01 - acetylcysteine ; Belongs to the class of mucolytics. Used in the treatment of wet cough.
