Clobetasol propionate

Indications/Uses

More resistant dermatoses eg, psoriasis (excluding widespread plaque psoriasis), recalcitrant eczemas, lichen planus, discoid lupus erythematosus & other skin conditions which do not respond satisfactorily to less active steroids.

Dosage/Direction for Use

Apply sparingly to affected area once or bd.

Contraindications

Primary skin lesions caused by fungal or bacterial infections.

Special Precautions

Adrenal suppression. Pregnancy & lactation.

Adverse Reactions

Local hypersensitivity reactions; local atrophic changes (prolonged use).
