Bromhexine hydrochloride.
Description
Each 5 mL (teaspoonful) contains: Bromhexine 4 mg.
Indications/Uses
For the treatment of respiratory disorder associated with viscid mucus.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Children: 2-6 years: ½ teaspoon (2.5 mL).
6-12 years: 1 teaspoonful (5 mL).
Adult: 2 teaspoonfuls (10 mL).
Three times a day.
Special Precautions
Bromhexine should be given with caution to patients with gastric ulcer and during the first trimester of pregnancy.

Adverse Reactions
Gastro-intestinal disturbances, indigestion, abdominal fullness, headache, vertigo, respiration, skin rash.
Storage
Store at temperatures not exceeding 30°C.
