Contents
Per 1 g vial Sulbactam Na 500 mg, cefoperazone Na 500 mg. Per 1.5 g vial Sulbactam Na 500 mg, cefoperazone Na 1,000 mg
Indications/Uses
Resp tract infections, UTI, peritonitis, cholecystitis, cholangitis & other intra-abdominal infections; septicemia, meningitis, skin & soft tissue infections, bone & joint infections, pelvic inflammatory disease, endometritis, gonorrhea & other genital tract infections.
Dosage/Direction for Use
1.5-3 g daily in 2 divided doses 12 hrly.
Contraindications
Known allergy to penicillins or cephalosporins.
Special Precautions
Hepatic dysfunction & concomitant renal impairment; ingestion of alcoholic beverages; overgrowth of nonsusceptible organisms.
Adverse Reactions
Diarrhea, nausea, vomiting; maculopapular rash, urticaria; eosinophilia, drug fever.
