Tramadol HCl
Indications/Uses
Moderate to severe acute or chronic pain & in painful diagnostic or therapeutic measures.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Adult & adolescent >14 yr 1 cap. If pain relief is unsatisfactory, further doses may be taken after 30-60 min. Max: 8 cap/day.
Administration
May be taken with or without food.
Contraindications
Acute intoxication to alcohol, hypnotics, analgesics or other CNS-acting drugs.
Special Precautions
Pregnancy & lactation, increased reactivity to opioids, convulsions. Dependence on long-term treatment. May affect ability to drive & use machines.
Adverse Reactions
Sweating, dizziness, nausea & vomiting, dry mouth & fatigue.
