Indications/Uses
Pyoderma (impetigo, infective eczematic dermatitis, folliculitis, furuncle, suppurative hidradenitis, impetiginous eczema), burn, trauma. Acne vulgaris, suture wound, secondary infections after skin grafting.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Adult & childn Clean affected area & apply directly to the wound for several times a day or cover the region w/ a gauze dressing for 1 wk.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity. Patients w/ infection due to nonsusceptible organism (especially Pseudomonas aeruginosa).
Special Precautions
Do not apply for long periods or to broad region of the skin. Avoid contact w/ eyes. Application to eye or eyelid is not recommended. Hypersensitivity reactions eg itching, rash, swelling, comedo or vesiculosa may occur. Pregnancy & lactation. Premature infant & neonate.
Adverse Reactions
Occasionally, skin rashes, weak pain, irritation.
